Silicone coated duct Hose is also called fiber glass hose. It’s made from fiberglass cloth, non-combustible polymer material and silicone rubber. The inner and outer walls are smooth, the diameter size is standard, the bending elasticity and the weight is light. It has advantages with corrosion resistance, ultraviolet resistance, high temperature resistance, flame retardant and the wear resistance, the non-toxic and the environmental protection.
It’s used in hot and cold air circulation transport systems, such as particle dryers in the plastics industry, printing machinery, hot air fans and compressors, automotive engine heating, train hot air circulation, aviation equipment and other cold and hot exhaust gas recovery emissions.
Silicone coated duct hose is suitable for a variety of applications such as hot air and fumes. This flex silicone air ducting hose consists of double layer silicone coated fiberglass reinforced with a spring steel wire helix and external filament fiberglass cord.
The 2 ply silicone hose makes the high temperature duct suitable for high temp air handling applications that are ideal for plastic processing operations. Such fibreglass hose is also a flexible air duct hose that has a narrow pitch for flexible venting.
This double layer silicone duct hose pipe has a tight bending radius. The duct hose vent can be resistant to many oils, solvents, ozone, water, fungus. It can bear high temperature up to 280℃.
